Comfort food. Made from scratch. All in one pan. What more can you ask for!? This easy macaroni dish is a joy to eat and clean up! This is definitely one of those recipes you can change up as you/your family desires. Want more veggies? Go ahead and add more peppers, onions, or other veggies. Use gluten free noodles or even zoodles. Need to cook for a crowd? Easily add extra of what you have on hand. This is a very versatile recipe!

Ingredients

  • 1 - 1.5 pound ground meat
  • .5 cup onion, chopped
  • 15oz tomato sauce (or 2 8oz cans will work)
  • 1 cup water (more as needed)
  • 1 package (7 ounces) macaroni noodles (could use gluten free noodles)
  • 1 chopped bell pepper (any color)
  • 3 TBS Nothin’ Funky Just Ranch Mix
  • 1 TBS Worcestershire sauce
  • .5 teaspoon salt
  • .25 teaspoon pepper
  • sour cream (optional)

Instructions

  1. In a large skillet over medium-high heat, cook the ground meat and chopped onion until the meat is no longer pink.
  2. Drain the meat and return to skillet.
  3. Stir in the remaining ingredients and bring it all to a boil.
  4. Reduce heat and simmer, covered, until macaroni is tender, 20-25 minutes, stirring occasionally so the noodles don't stick. Add more water if it gets too thick.
